Competitive/Market Intelligence as a booster for Innovation

It’s my pleasure and honor to invite you to our 7th international conference! Looking back at the many conferences and events I have organized, the 2015 ICI conference is set to be a very strong event, equipped with all the ingredients to become our best ever annual conference.
I’m proud that we have received many compelling submissions in response to our call for speakers. Unbelievably we have even had to turn down speakers who in previous years I would have pleaded to attend our conference. Expect an unmatched selection of practitioners presenting real-life insights into the essentials of competitive intelligence strategies and day-to-day operations. These stories are sometimes surprising, sometimes de-mystifying, but always interesting, and are hard to find elsewhere.
Thanks to my friend and sparring partner Prof Dr. Klaus Solberg-Søilen, once more we’ve been able to organize an academic track as part of our annual conference (see our agenda). This track will highlight the latest developments and perspectives from the scientific field. The aim is for academics to enjoy these enriching presentations, while encouraging practitioners to get involved: the future of CI might very well be reflected in the work that is carried out today in the scientific field.
Another highlight of the conference is the vendor exhibition area. Software and services for a niche market such as competitive intelligence are a rare breed. We are therefore grateful that several leading vendors will be exhibiting at the conference and joining in the presentations! Take your time to check out their state-of-the-art offerings!
I learned from people who have attended our conferences in the past that networking at our conference is very special. We seem to have the right number of participants, making it easier to link up with enough high-caliber contacts. Our conferences are not too big, so you don’t get lost in an anonymous crowd of individuals.
Strasbourg is a tranquil, yet vibrant dream city – it brings back fond memories of my previous trips and moments spent enjoying the delicious Flammkuchen and magnificent wine. But the Alsace region itself justifies several extra days for any trip. There are great transport links to Strasbourg, which is very much at the heart of Europe!
See you soon at the conference
